We are seeking an experienced NRC Nuclear Licensing Lead with a proven track record in navigating NRC regulation and licensing requirements. In this role, you will shape the company’s NRC licensing strategy and how it informs our approach to siting, development, and project monetization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering or scientific field. Graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in nuclear licensing, regulatory affairs, or engineering support for nuclear facilities.
- Significant involvement in NRC licensing processes with a demonstrated ability to drive regulatory milestones forward.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and submitting high-quality regulatory documents, safety analyses, and licensing applications to the NRC.
- Strong working relationships or demonstrated capability to interface effectively with NRC staff, technical reviewers, and industry working groups.
- Deep understanding of advanced reactor technologies, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), or microreactor regulatory pathways.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for agency meetings, project site visits, and key stakeholder engagements.
- Exceptional strategic communication skills, with the ability to translate complex nuclear regulatory requirements into actionable development milestones.
